Massage Schools in Tennessee
If you are considering attending massage schools in Tennessee, you have many great schools to visit. Tennessee is known as the "Volunteer State", with university sports teams and activities being very popular in the state. If you want to live near the big city of Memphis in the west, in a small town like Jefferson City in the east, in a cabin in the mountains, or by a beautiful lake, Tennessee has all the things you are looking for in a place to work and live. It is a vacation destination for thousands of people who come here each year to visit amusement parks, national parks, wineries, and mountain hideaways. Tennessee residents and visitors alike seek quality bodywork services, so there is excellent potential for a thriving, successful business in this state. Part-time or full-time massage therapy career opportunities are available for therapists who attend any of the Tennessee massage schools shown below. My "Tips on Choosing a Massage School" page is a great resource for information on what questions to ask, where to attend, and how to get started in school. Before you begin your search, check out that page. Education information and licensure requirements, can be found on the Tennessee Massage Therapy Board website at health.state.tn.us/Boards/Massage/. It also provides renewal information, continuing education requirements and rules and regulations for massage therapy in Tennessee.
